AJUFE promotes the first international seminar on Restorative Justice and People with Disabilities

Federal Judges Association (AJUFE) promotes the first international seminar on Restorative Justice and People with Disabilities From November 8th to 10th. The activities will be carried out via Zoom, with simultaneous translation (Portuguese, English, English and Brazilian sign language). The event is co-hosted by Gallaudet University, Governors State University in Chicago's Southland, the Jô Clemente Institute and the Zehr Institute for Restorative Justice.

The lectures will always take place from 8-11am EST. In addition, talking circles will take place on 11/09, from 11:30am to 2pm EST. Participants will be divided into 10 groups to and engage in discussions.

During the event, magistrates, academics and specialists will debate themes such as “People with Disabilities and Equality, Dignity, Autonomy, challenges and opportunities”.
